Microblogs are pretty similar t the wel known bloggin however they consist of small posts such as a tweets on Tweeter. One of the paradigm of modern social communication platforms in the commercial area is called attention economy where company which has to compete for the attention of the potential consumer.
In the attention economy paradigm Microblogs such as Tweeter seen as a new form of the communication where the users can express their feeling and attitude to the product or services and share it with other people through the short posts such as tweets for example. The microblogs has to be putted under consideration by any company due to the fact that this posts then distributed between users through instant messages, smartphones and etc. Twitting is seen as the most popular form of microbloging, however, it is not the only one there are also micro-sharing or micro-updates options.
Due to the fact that smartphones, tablets and internet have took huge part of the people day-to-day life microblogging has a straight impact on eWOM, as people can share their thoughts or feeling related to the brand anywhere to almost anyone, who has connection to the internet, e-mail, IM etc.
