5. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE
The purpose of discipline "Global financial markets" is to provide for Masters the knowledge and skills in the field of organization and regulation of global financial markets, including the study of concepts, categories and items specific sectors of the market, and the patterns and trends of development in the modern conditions.
Tasks of the discipline:
- Examine the nature, functions and features of the global financial market;
- Study the current structure of the global financial market;
- Examine the problems and modern trends shaping the market of financial and banking services in the context of globalization;
- Master the skills of practical calculations of profitability and risks of financial instruments in the global financial market.
The subjects taught allows Masters to get knowledge on the development of the global financial market in modern conditions at the end of the course: to possess the information about the reasons that affect the sustainable development of the financial sector in the context of globalization; to apply their knowledge to solve practical problems regarding the use of financial instruments on a particular form of the global financial market.
