Георгиевская лента - символ Дня Победы Наш многовековой символ, олицетворяющий подвиг русских воинов-героев на полях сражений, в кровавых рукопашных боях Орденами и медалями, украшенными гвардейской (георгиевской) ленточкой, награждались воины за личный подвиг на поле боя: зазахват знамени врага, оказание помощи раненым под пулями неприятеля, спасение знамени своей части, проникновение первым в укрытие врага и ликвидацию его гарнизона. Героев, получивших этот почетный знак, сразу же повышали в должности. Награждались также героически сражавшиеся воинские подразделения.
