Ui korsetu The bride's acquaintance with her husband's relatives. After the wedding the husband's relatives and neighbors one by one invite the young daughter-in-law to meet her, to get to know her closer, for her to adapt faster to the new place. The bride accepts such invitations not with empty hands. Here, traditionally she must make "ilu" (ilu means to hang). The mother-in-law is to settle the measure of "ilu" (present), taking into account her status and facilities. While getting acquainted, hosts try their young daughter-in-law (her personaUty, manners, and behavior), how much she well-bred and respectful is. This custom must be remembered by all the girls, because it does exist nowadays.
