Today the development of the transport infrastructure in Russian is under the focus of the Government. In comparison with the period of 90-s, when the sector was underfunded, nowadays this industry is one of the biggest segments of the construction market in Russia. According to the Federal State Statistics Service, the transport infrastructure construction costs in 2011 were around 660,1 billion rubles (which is 13% of all of the construction sector costs). According to the market research*, Russian transport infrastructural construction market grows almost constantly, and for the last 6 years it has grown by 11%.

*All of the research is made on the basis of the Federal State Statistics Service, Economist Intelligence Unit, Global Insight, World Bank information, reports of PMR and EMBS Group.
The number of the passenger cars in Russia is expected to grow continuously, as well as the length of the roads in the country. The last fact can be justified by the following Winter Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi and the World Cup 2018, but also by the general trend towards the development of a modern infrastructure throughout the country, whether it is in a remote underdeveloped area or in a crowded central part of Russia. Thereby, the situation in the infrastructural construction industry in Russia is attractive for the investments both in the short and long term.
