Epicurus and Epicureanism
1. The people are on their own account in this life. Gods have their own business, the man is mortal, and there is no life after death.
2. Pleasure is the one reasonable purpose of life. Pleasure is good, suffering is bad.
3. Spiritual pleasure is higher than material one because it reduces dependency from the external world.
