LPA-L low profile tile effect sheet
Developed according to the Swedish traditions the new LPA-L Lindab tile effect sheet is a light (low dead-load) 4.5kg/m2, exceptionally strong and stable, roof covering sheet.
The LPA-L offers one of the most economic solutions for constructors and renovators with the well known technical advantages and quality of Lindab tile effect sheets. The aesthetics of the new roof has been changed - with a lower wave gives the vies of a flatter tile, thus keeping the traditionality of the roof cover. The LPA-L recallls the texture of classic tile with rich colour and profile range, thus ideal primarily for the roof of family houses, condominiums, public houses, but suitable also for industrial buildings where the roofing is required to fit to the traditional (built) enviornment. As that, it is a practical, aesthetic and economic solution e.g. for the renovation of the roofing of a block of flats in downtown.
• A lower, 24mm wave height version of the traditional Lindab LPA tile effect sheet • Offering a more economic roofing solution with its net covering width of 1100mm - either it is a new construction or a renovation • Hot dip galvanized, high strength raw material offers a long-term solution, while the extremely wide colour and profile range guarantees a roof cladding fitting the environment and the taste of the constructor. • Up from an angle of 14° suitable for any kind of high pitched roof;owing to its remarkably low dead load (app. 4.5 kg/m2) and fast, large board cladding technology, it can even be mounted directly on old slate or bituminous roof with appropriate battens and counterbattens. • Its appearance recalls the form of classic tile, thus suitable to use in patinated enviornment.
The perfect water safety is guaranteed in case of connection of the LPA-L owing to the special profile sidelap with drip edge, a unique development that blocks passing water and diverts rainwater. The new solution ensures maximum water protection of the building, even among extreme weather conditions. It is applicable without the change or special reinforcement of the roof structure owing to its low dead-load (~4.5kg/m2). It means great savings in case of slate roof renovations, while the costy removal and transportation of the old azbestos slate as a hazardous waste can be avoided with assembling directly on the existing old roof cladding, if it is allowed by local expert survey.
