This experiment was built to demonstrate the properties of the metal when was subjected certain force on it. The objective of this experiment is using different kind of metals to determine the properties of the elastic and plastic deformation. Under the certain force, metal begins to deform. There is two kind of the deformation, which is the elastic and plastic deformation. Plastic deformation is the offset of one relative to the other layers of metal on the slip lines, formed by the dislocations. With any plastic deformation changes the geometry of the grain, the details of the sample. When metal under the plastic deformation, one part of the crystal moves relative to the other (polycrystalline). After removing the load, deformation remains.
