It is a prerequisite for the development of any society. No branch of linguistics can be studied without presupposing at least the study of other aspects of society. We see the development of quite distinct interdisciplinary subjects such as sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, mathematical linguistics and others. The following course paper is devoted to the theme the types of semantic components.
Lexicology is the part of linguistics which studies words. This may include their nature and function as symbols their meaning, the relationship of their meaning to epistemology in general, and the rules of their composition from smaller elements (morphemes such as the English -ed marker for past or un- for negation; and phonemes as basic sound units). Lexicology also involves relations between words, which may involve semantics (for example, love vs. affection), derivation (for example, fathom vs. unfathomably), usage and sociolinguistic distinctions (for example, flesh vs. meat), and any other issues involved in analyzing the whole lexicon of a language(s).The actuality of this research work is that the study of homonymy and polysemy is one of the main object and which was dealt by famous linguists’ such as: Arnold I.V; Ginzburg R.S. Koonin, Ulman S. and others. The subject of the course paper is types of semantic components. The aim of the course paper is to study types of semantic components in the English language. The main aim of the course paper sets the following tasks: o to study types of semantic components o to research the semantic components with Conceptual Contracts o to make classification of a brief overview of kind theory o to study semantic properties The theoretical value of the research is in the theoretical approach to the given work and to understand deeply types of semantic components in the English language. . The structure of the course paper is as follows: Introduction, 4 chapters, conclusion and the used literature. The Introduction deals with the content of the qualification paper. The first chapter deals with types of semantic components The second chapter deals with semantic components The third chapter deals with a brief overview of kind theory The fourth chapter deals with semantic properties Conclusion deals with the theoretical and practical results of the course paper. The list of used literatures deals with the list of literature used in the course paper.
