Ex. 4 Letter format refers to the way in which you type a letter - where you indent and where you place certain kinds of information. There exists a number of letter formats. Two of the most often used in the business world are:
Fully-blocked format.
All the typed entries commence from the left-hand margin, forming a ‘vertical line’ down the page.
Semi-blocked format.
The date and complimentary close are situated to the right of centre and each paragraph is indented.
