Read out their interview and mark which statement after the dialogue refers to either Helen or Katherine.
I. — the interviewer; H. — Helen; K. — Katherine I. — You've been a vegetarian ever since I've known you. Why is that? H. — Well, you met me when I was sixteen and I think I became a vegetarian when I was fifteen which is an age where you get very fanatical about things and very identified with particular causes, and I think, thathad a large part to play in why I became vegetarian when I was fifteen, and ever since then it's been habit more than anything else, it's a way of life, in fact. I'd say it isn't an issue any more simply became I've done it for so long. I. — But you must have made some sort of choice and you must feel that was the right choice otherwise you'd have changed your mind, wouldn't you? H. — Yes, I think it was the right choice. I'm not keen on other people being vegetarian particularly unless they want to be, I'm not bothered about that, but for me it was the right choice, because I felt immediately much healthier not only physically but emotionally too. When I gave up eating meat I felt that there was something wrong in eating meat. I can't exactly put my finger on what it was because it wasn't specifically to do with cruelty to animals and it wasn't specifically to do with environmental or ecological issues but it was more to do with a kind of emotional, personal reaction to the whole idea of eating meat. And in fact I remember the moment when I decided to become vegetarian I was eating a chicken pie and I thought this is the last piece of meat I'm ever going to eat and so far it has been.
