NON-TRADITIONAL METHODS FOR OIL FEEDSTOCK REFINING AND HIGH-QUALITY FUEL PRODUCTION
A method for increasing the yields of fuel fractions by low-temperature (340°C) cracking initiated by ozonides and sulfoxides contained in the ozonated oil feedstock has been developed. The state-of-the-art agency consists of combination of ozonation, thermolysis, and catalytic refining of oil feedstock. The ozonation process is carried out in a vertical direct-feed multi-sectional reactor at the ozone consumption optimum for a specific feedstock. The ozonated oil is subjected to thermolysis at 340°C for 30 min, then to the rectification into hydrocarbon fractions. The straight-run fuel fractions are processed in the flow installation with a stationary bed of a zeolite-containing catalyst within the temperature range 320-440°C, at a volumetric rate of the liquid feedstock 2h, and a pressure 1-2 atm. The ozonolysis of heavy oil fractions and catalytice ennobling of fuel distillates produced increases the depth of oil refining and improves the quality of oil products. Advantages of the method: 1. Improvement of the quality indices of the gasolines produced; 2. Increase in the gasolines yield (by 20% and more as compared to the refining of the corresponding fraction of the crude oil; 3. Increase in the yield of low-sulfur diesel fuels (more than 90%). This is scientific development. Laboratory installations for ozonation, thermal treatment of the ozonated oil and ennobling of straight-run fuel fractions have been manufactured. Proposals for cooperation: joint commercialization, sales.
