Welcoming letter Dear participants! We, the organizing team, are very pleased to welcome you at the European Youth Forum 2013. We strongly believe that together we can make it unforgettable. Today, European Union is facing different problems that need to be solved to maintain high living standards and provide prosperous life for the future generations. Economic and social issues are considered to be of current interest at all times. You, as the members of the Justice (JUST) Department of the European Commission, are supposed to discuss contentious cases related to the topic of the EU citizenship. You will also have a unique opportunity to listen to our special guest – Professor A. Gerrits from the Leiden University, Netherlands, with his lecture covering the current problems of the EU and discuss the EU-Russia cooperation with Sielski Mariusz, College of Europe representative. Think critically, work properly and cooperate effectively. Perhaps, you will find some state of art solutions to create recommendations on solving this acute problem. Try to think different! We believe in your consciousness, professionalism, creativity and enthusiasm which would make debates consistent, effective and interesting for you. We hope that this guide will ease the process of preparing to the debates, researching on the issues at the European Youth Forum 2013. P.S.
