Rollcall of the students and elucidation the reasons of the absence of students, checking of the conspectus. Number of forming competencies:knowledge, practical skills. Main questions of the theme: 45 minutes 1. Circulatory system (arteries, veins). Mechanism of blood circulation. Functions of the systemic and pulmonary circulations. Regional blood circulation. 2. Frank hydrodynamic model. Pulse wave. Pulse wave velocity in the vessels. 3. Bernoulli’s equation. Newton equation for viscous liquid. Reynolds number. Hagen-Poiseuille law. 4. Physical properties of blood. Density and relative viscosity of blood. 5. Determination the unknown concentration using the viscosimeter. Break - 10 minutes Learning and teaching methods: - analysis and discussing of main and control questions; - solving of standard and situational problems; performance of the laboratory work; - construction of the graphs; - testing; - correcting the mistakes. Methods of the control of formed at classes competencies: - testing on a computer (a student has to give the answers for test questions that contain minimal knowledge and skills – main definitions, theoretical questions of the theme). - checking the correctness of construction of a graph and determination the unknown concentration using the graph; - checking the correctness of conclusions formulation by the results of obtained data; - opinions exchanging at the studying of educational material.
