Siemens (Germany)
Foreign company in the Russian market. 29. L’etoile State influence: L’etoile is 100% privately owned company[26]. L’etoile is distributor of cosmetics, this industry has no regulations from the government side. Moreover we have to underline that mostly cosmetics selling by L’etoile is foreign, therefore it won’t have any problems with export (as it can be delivered directly to its foreign subsidiary). Therefore we can conclude that L’etoile has no state influence. Internationalization: L’etoile operates only in Russia (250 cities), therefore it is not internationalized. 30. D&POS State influence: D&POS is universal supplier of metal-roll, which is privately owned[27]. But still the government could influence D&POS business through public construction contracts. For instance, D&POS supplied valves (and other metal-constructions) for the construction of Temple of the Christ of the Savior, Shopping center on Manezh areas, the Moscow ring motorway, the Third transport ring, Central Bank Building and etc[28]. But of course, D&OS as well supply metal-roll goods for other developers. Therefore there is just some state influence through public construction contracts. Nowadays there is no financial or tax support for the metal-roll industry. [29] Internationalization: D&POS operates only in Russia, no internationalization.
