Rive Gauche
State influence: Rive Gauche is 100% privately owned company[30]. Rive Gauche is distributor of cosmetics, this industry has no regulations from the government side. As it was mentioned above (in the L’etoile case) there is no state restrictions that withhold company of going overseas. Therefore we can conclude that Rive Gauche has no state influence. Internationalization: Rive Gauche operates only in Russia (61 cities) therefore it is not internationalized. PTK State influence: PTK is owned by “St. Petersburg city’s bank” (Peterburgskiy Gorodskoy Bank) - 99,4%.[31] There is no state ownership. Unlike oil and gas extraction, petrol selling within Russia is not controlled by the government. But export is highly difficult, because of the high tariffs for all oil-goods (66%)[32]. Internationalization: PTK (St. Petersburg Fuel Company) operates only in the Northwestern region of Russia (it business covers even not whole Russia). There is no internationalization. Liebherr (Germany) Foreign company in the Russian Market UFAOIL State influence: Ufaoil is owned by private investors and by closed joint-stock companies (Ufa-oil, Optan, Optan-AZS)[33]. There is no state regulation for the selling oil- products within Russia, but high tariffs for export (100% for the crude, and 66% for its products)[34] slow down export possibilities. Internationalization: UFAOIL operates only within Russia (69 regions)[35]. There is no internationalization.
