LindabTruss trusses

Integrated system:

Lindab Construline ® lightweight wall profiles

One of Lindab’s most recent result of development is the lightweight truss to be mounted from thin-wall C-profiles; this is highly suitable for the implementation of the roof structure of small and medium size industrial buildings (with a span of 10 to 24m, in a spacing of 3 to 6m).

The high-strength hot-dip galvanised Lindab profiles guarantee a durable and economic implementation; while the tie-ups and connections with hex-headed metric screws secure quick and simple installation. The mounting of trusses is made in a plant, at a place protected from weather, by the used of Lindab profiles and steel fittings or individual design and manufacture. Due to the light dead load both the transportation and on- site assembly of the supports is economical.

The formand network geometry of trusses can be designed in a fully individual manner, subject to manufacture and framing restrictions. We have verified the dimensioning process, elaborated in conformity with the most recent European standards, through a esries of laboratory

experiments carried out on samples with a 1:1 scale, thus we have made sure the appropriate safety level of load-bearing. The quick static design of trusses is supported by our software developed in our company, the DimTruss programme, whereby the optimum solution can be easily found, if the conditions (sizes, loads) have been set.

The vertical supporting structure can be made from a variety of materials and with strutural design: brick wall, brick pillar, reinforced concrete pillar or steel column can be equally used, adjusted to the requirements of builders and technical descriptions. Anyone of the roof cladding types, proven for traditional hall structures, can be constructed for the trusses. Both roof claddings from one-layer (non-insulated) or two-layer (heat insulated) trapezoid sheets, fixed to Lindab Z-puzlin row, and sandwich panel roof claddings can be usde. In the event of roofs with low inclination a soft-covered heat insulated warm roof can be prepared with high profile trapezoid sheets placed directly on the upper zone of the truss.

HRY-C and HSKY-U profiles manufactured by Lindab with perforated ridge are perfect components of the external load-bearing wall of lightweight buildings with 1 or 2 storeys, as well as for the frame filling or curtain wall of high buildings (made with frame from reinforced concrete or steel). One of its preferred field of application is the external load-bearing wall structure in the case of the building-in of attic spaces in existing buildings.

The gap-like holes located in the ridge of the sections, which are translated from each other, increase efficiently the length of the way of heat conduction, and thereby the heat insulation will be considerably improved for the full wall structure, and the resultant heat transmission coefficient is by around 1.5 times lower due to the slots. In addition, the wall structure allowing energy-saving operationcan be prepared with a smaller total wall

thickness, than the majority of traditional masonry solutions. And due to this even its internal usedul basic area is quite better. Furthermore, thanks to the hot-dip galvanised steel basic material a high load bearing and long lifetime are guaranteed.

The supporting frame of the wall structure can be easily mounted and quickly assembled, while the external facade cladding can be totally freely elected as per demand of the builders, it can be Lindab’s external wall cassette, board heat insulation with thin plaster or any kind of mounted wall cover.

The dividing wall profiles serving the purpose of internal space separation are highly appropriate if used as supporting frames of supporting walls covered with gypsum board. The order of layers compiled from our separation wall profiles, together with appropriate heat insulation filling material and a gypsum board cover with a given number of layers, have parameters of noise insulation and fire resistance measured and qualified in laboratory, and thereby they can be built in accordance even the strictest requirements.

Integrated systems:

Lindab Roof ® roof renovation system

Integrated systems:

Lindab Floor ® floor system

The fundamental aim of Lindab’s lightweight roof renovation system devel- oped by Lindab is to provide appropriate solution for the quick, simple and cost efficient reconstruction of industrial and residential buildings with low- pitched roofs and soft covering, generating frequent problems of soaking.

The buildings with low-pitched roofs widely spread in our country in the past decades are typically insulated against rainwater with soft cover con- struction based on bitumen, plaster or PVC, whose condition and technol- ogy status has been deteriorationg in many cases as of today. In this way works of maintenance and renovation rather frequent and expensive have become or will become unavoidable. Lindab’s roof renovation structure with a greater roof inclination is a perfect solution for the elimination of this problem. Namely, the hot-dip galvanised steel supporting structure, pre- painted roof covering sheets and safe gutter system of the Lindab system provide a long lifespan and simple maintenance for the owners and users. In addition, also the internal heat technology characteristics of the upper residential storey are considerably improved, thanks to the ventilated “attic space” formed between the new and the old roof.

Lindab Floor os a professional solition for the construction or renovation of load-bearing floor systems.

The Lindab lightweight floor system is a solution, which can be flexibly handled, is adjusted to the main supporting structure system and material of the building, which is

fit, due to its small structural weight and considerable load-bearing capacity, not only for the implementation of the intermediate load-bearing floors of newly constructed buildings, but also for that of the floor levels, that may be subsequently built in into existing buildings.

It is prepared with mounted and wet technology, it can be easily adapted to any type of supporting structure and provides a high level of voice insulation, and it is characterised by quick and simple construction.

The main elements of the Lindab Roof roof structure are the main beam frame structure consisting of slanted, C-profile pendulum columns and z-profile purlins, as well as three different types

of Lindab roof cover systems, which can be designed in a roof inclination range of 6 to 30°: trapezoid sheets (LTP20; LTP35; LTP45); tile effect sheets (LPA, LPA Maxi) or standing seam roofing sheet (PLX, SRP).

The new roof has aesthetic appearance, it provides a technically excellent and durable solution, and the roof will not soak anymore!

Lindab Doorline ® industrial sectional door

Lindab Protectline ® roof safety system

Lindab Doorline represents a new generation of sectional industrial doors.

Thanks to its extremely broad choice of dimensions and to the full scale of complementary elements this system can satisfy almost all demands.

The doors will be formed with extruded polystyrene heat insulation, the sections can be requested with steel or aluminium armature.

The door max be operated manually, or with a manual-chain, with motor drive or with a remote-controlled motor drive, its dimension

is adjusted to the sizes of building and vehicles, while the number of doors and windows that can be built in, depends on the demands of the customer.

The thickness of solid panels of Lindab gates is 46 mm (k=0,50 W/m2K), its height is 600 mm in each case (except the upmost closing element), while their width can be varied as per demand. For the sake of better safety each door is provided with protection against pinching of finger.

Due to its international experience Lindab has developed a full-range of safety technology.

The aim of the system is to make safer work and walking on roof, since tinsmiths,

chimneysweepers, real estate maintenancemen frequently visit the roof in rain, snow and wind.

Lindab offers such a comprehensive choice of roof safety products (snowpipe, snow grid, roof and wall ladder, catwalk, protecting railing) as well as of fixing elements, which can be mounted in case of each type of roof and cover, without jeopardising or damaging the water tightness of the roof cover.

The Lindab roof safety system is suitable both for residential buildings and public buildings, as well as for industrial halls.

Lindab highly focuses on the development of such new fixing methods, which failitate mounting on the roof and make this more efficient, since installation must be made safely.

The surface protection of the elements of the roof safety system is, in the simplest case, hot-dip galvanisation in a quantity of 275g/m2, ensuring durability. The painted version increases further the durability. The system can be chosen in 5 different standard colours, and upon demand it can be ordered in any individual colour as well.
