Affirmative form We form Present Simple Passive with the verb ‘be’ in Present Tense am/ are/ is and the Past Participle (Vз). I am told, he/ she is told, we/ you/ they are told. Examples: 1 Current generating the magnetic field is known as excitation current. 2 The passengers are asked to open their baggage. 3 The magnetic field strength is controlled by a voltage regulator. 4 I am asked to fill in blankets.
Negative form We form the negative form with “be” in present Simple am/ are/ is + not + Past Participle (Vз). I am not told, he/ she is not told, we/ you/ they are not told.
