A year ago I decided to enter the Trade and Economic College. Now I like studying here. My favourite subjects are; Accounting, Economics... My future profession is a commodity expert. A commodity expert deals with different goods and commodities, their assortment, prices, packaging and labels. He should know everything about products which are on sale. A commodity expert also sells goods and tell buyers about them. His/Her purpose is to advertise a product and give true information about it. A commodity expert should always be polite and sociable. But after the college I would like to enter a university and continue my education. I want to be a high-qualified specialist and know everything about trade. Task 2. Read the text and write out unknown words RESUME OR CURRICULUM VITAE When a person is eager to get a job he is often to fill in a resume (USA) or a curriculum vitae (UK) or a standard printed application form. The forms can be laid out in different ways but the information required will, in most cases, be the same. The information given by the candidate in these papers will be helpful in assessing the candidate's suitability for the post. From the candidate's point of view, this paper is the first impression the firm will obtain of him or her and therefore it is important that the candidate completes the paper clearly and carefully. A curriculum vitae (CV) should usually contain the following information:
CVs or resumes as well as application forms will require the name and address of at least two individuals who can act as referees, which means those who can provide references. The referees may be contacted and asked whether or not they consider the applicant to be suitable for the post. The candidate may name a vicar, a doctor, or an old family friend as one of referees. Normally, the firm will ask for the names of present or former employers or supervisors for whom the candidate has worked. Here is the example of a curriculum vitae:
